Welcome to the Official Website of CSI Kattakada

A parish is the epitome and symbol of Christian love and fellowship. It was the divine will to found this parish in the heart of a small town which is growing rapidly. Our church and the laity could exercise a great influence on all shades of life in the society we live. The present generation strives hard to uphold this heritage and hand it over to the posterity.    

The CSI Parish in Kattakada was established in 1846 by the pioneering missionary Rev. John Cox.  It is one of the biggest parishes in South Kerala Diocese with more than 650 families in its fold. 

    Over the years our Parish has served the society in many meaningful ways and has been a powerful instrument in social and educational development

1. Anniversary: The joint Anniversary of the Sunday School, CEYF, Junior CEYF (Bal Jana Sakhyam) and Woemens Fellowship has been conducted in our parish on 14.12.2014, during the Sunday Service. Rev. N.P. Vipin Lal has been the Chief Guest. The Secretaries of the respective organisations have presented the annual reports. The Chief Guest has delivered the sermon and distributed the prizes. Rev. K.P. Mohan Das has presided over. Rev. R. Shibu, Asst. Vicar has also been present.

2. Audio CD: An audio CD titled "Nirupama Sneham", containing devotional songs has been released by the Board for Communications, CSI, South Kerala Diocese. The CD entitled Nirupama Sneham is available for sale at Rs. 80.

3. Star Festival: This year Star Festival and Manger Contest will beheld in the church premises from 23rd December onwards. The contests will be held at ward levels. All are requested to visit our parish to witness the festival and share the joy of Christmas.
