Welcome to the Official Website of CSI Kattakada

A parish is the epitome and symbol of Christian love and fellowship. It was the divine will to found this parish in the heart of a small town which is growing rapidly. Our church and the laity could exercise a great influence on all shades of life in the society we live. The present generation strives hard to uphold this heritage and hand it over to the posterity.    

The CSI Parish in Kattakada was established in 1846 by the pioneering missionary Rev. John Cox.  It is one of the biggest parishes in South Kerala Diocese with more than 650 families in its fold. 

    Over the years our Parish has served the society in many meaningful ways and has been a powerful instrument in social and educational development

1. Ordination: Evg. Saji N. Stuart, the Associate Vicar of our parish will be ordained a priest on 24th May, 2015 at MM Chruch, Trivandrum at 1.00 PM. The sacrament will be presided over by Rt. Rev. A. Dharmaraj Rasalam (Bishop, CSI, South Kerala Diocese). All are requested to attend the above function.


2. Missionary Dedication: Five missionaries sponsored by our parish will be dedicated on 31.05.2015 during Sunday service by Rt. Rev. A. Dharmaraj Rasalam (Bishop, CSI, South Kerala Diocese). With this, the total number of missionaries sponsored by our parish in different parts of India will be 20.


3. An Appeal: Wedding of a young orphaned girl is scheduled to be held on 25th May, 2015. Both her parents were the beneficiaries of the Palliative Care Unit in our parish, before their death. The Palliative Care Unit wishes to help this girl financially at this instance. Anybody willing to help the above girl may contact its Secretary Shri. E. Vijaya Raj (Mob. No. 9349141072).
