Welcome to the Official Website of CSI Kattakada

A parish is the epitome and symbol of Christian love and fellowship. It was the divine will to found this parish in the heart of a small town which is growing rapidly. Our church and the laity could exercise a great influence on all shades of life in the society we live. The present generation strives hard to uphold this heritage and hand it over to the posterity.    

The CSI Parish in Kattakada was established in 1846 by the pioneering missionary Rev. John Cox.  It is one of the biggest parishes in South Kerala Diocese with more than 650 families in its fold. 

    Over the years our Parish has served the society in many meaningful ways and has been a powerful instrument in social and educational development

1. Career Guidance: The career guidance courses being conducted in our parish under the aegis of the CEYF has benefitted a large number of youth seeking job in government service. The above courses will be rejuvenated and re-organised with a special thrust to the forthcoming competitive examinations announced by the Kerala Public Service Commission. The Sub-Inspector of Police (SI) selection will be kept in focus, even while the course will be so moulded that one would be able to perform well in any competitive exam, by attending the same. The courses will be co-ordinated by Rev. Saji N. Stewart, Asst. Vicar of our parish and the first class of this batch will be conducted on 10.06.2015 at 6.00 PM. All are requested to make avail of this opportunity.

2. General Body: The Annual General Body (Thirusabha) meeting of our parish will be conducted on 28.06.2015 after the Sunday service. All eligible members are requested to attend the above meeting. Any queries or suggestions to be discussed in the meeting may be intimated in writing in advance to the Presbyter.
