Welcome to the Official Website of CSI Kattakada

A parish is the epitome and symbol of Christian love and fellowship. It was the divine will to found this parish in the heart of a small town which is growing rapidly. Our church and the laity could exercise a great influence on all shades of life in the society we live. The present generation strives hard to uphold this heritage and hand it over to the posterity.    

The CSI Parish in Kattakada was established in 1846 by the pioneering missionary Rev. John Cox.  It is one of the biggest parishes in South Kerala Diocese with more than 650 families in its fold. 

    Over the years our Parish has served the society in many meaningful ways and has been a powerful instrument in social and educational development

Announcements & Activities as on 06.09.2015

1. Family Week: The week from 06.09.2015 has been celebrated as “Family Week” in all parishes under CSI, South Kerala Diocese (SKD), under the aegis of the Board for Women’s Work. In our parish, the celebrations have been inaugurated on 06.09.2015 during the Sunday Service by Rev. Saji N. Stewart, Asst. Vicar. The members of Women’s Fellowship visited the houses in our parish and undertook various voluntary service activities. Some Cottage Prayer Meetings have also been arranged. The celebrations concluded on 13.09.2015 during the Sunday Service. Members of the Women’s Fellowship conducted various parts of the Service. Smt. Prathibha (Asst. Professor, Christian College, Kattakada) has been the Chief Guest.

2. Free Eye Treatment Camp: A Free Eye Treatment camp will be organised in our parish on 23.09.2015 at 9.00 AM, under the initiative of Dr. SM CSI Medical College, Karakonam. Four expert doctors will attend the Camp. All are requested to make avail of the benefits of the Camp.
