Welcome to the Official Website of CSI Kattakada

A parish is the epitome and symbol of Christian love and fellowship. It was the divine will to found this parish in the heart of a small town which is growing rapidly. Our church and the laity could exercise a great influence on all shades of life in the society we live. The present generation strives hard to uphold this heritage and hand it over to the posterity.

The CSI Parish in Kattakada was established in 1846 by the pioneering missionary Rev. John Cox.  It is one of the biggest parishes in South Kerala Diocese with more than 650 families in its fold.

Over the years our Parish has served the society in many meaningful ways and has been a powerful instrument in social and educational development

1. Career Guidance: The Career Guidance –cum-PSC Coaching Centre in our Parish is functioning in an exemplary way since June, 2015. The faculties and resource persons in our parish do volunteer service for the success of this initiative under the personal guidance and strict supervision of our Presbyters. The classes are being held from 6.30 PM to 8.30 PM, except on Sundays and Thursdays.
As a recognition for this venture, M/s Rajakumari Wedding Centre, a leading business firm in Kattakada has donated Rs. 10,000/- for procuring a digital projector for the benefit of the students who attend the classes. A new projector has been procured for Rs. 53,000/- and the same has been consecrated during the Sunday Service  on 08.02.2016. Only a small amount has been received as donation from the public so far.
If anybody would like to donate for the above purpose, please contact our Presbyters. Also, those who are willing to donate their used/old lap-top computer may do so for the above noble cause.
