Welcome to the Official Website of CSI Kattakada

A parish is the epitome and symbol of Christian love and fellowship. It was the divine will to found this parish in the heart of a small town which is growing rapidly. Our church and the laity could exercise a great influence on all shades of life in the society we live. The present generation strives hard to uphold this heritage and hand it over to the posterity.    

The CSI Parish in Kattakada was established in 1846 by the pioneering missionary Rev. John Cox.  It is one of the biggest parishes in South Kerala Diocese with more than 650 families in its fold. 

    Over the years our Parish has served the society in many meaningful ways and has been a powerful instrument in social and educational development

  1. Anniversary of Poor Fund/Palliative Care: The anniversary of Poor Fund & Palliative Care in our parish has been celebrated on 11th September, during the second Service. Dr. N. Selva Raj, Administrator of CSI, South Kerala Diocese, has been the Chief Guest. Shri. Bright Singh, Parish Secretary and Shri. E. Vijaya Raj, Convenor, Palliative Care Unit have presented the annual reports of Poor Fund and Palliative Care, respectively.
  2. Family Week: The family week in our parish has been observed from 11.09.2016 to 18.09.2016. Various programmes have been organised by the Women’s Fellowship members. The most important among them is the Spiritual Convention in our parish from 15th to 18th September. Rev. Dr. D.J. Ajith Kumar (CNI) has delivered the key-note-address, based on the subject ‘Build on the Rock’. He has stated that building on the rock means hearing the Words of Jesus and obeying them. He has also attended both the Holy Services on 18th September.
