Welcome to the Official Website of CSI Kattakada

A parish is the epitome and symbol of Christian love and fellowship. It was the divine will to found this parish in the heart of a small town which is growing rapidly. Our church and the laity could exercise a great influence on all shades of life in the society we live. The present generation strives hard to uphold this heritage and hand it over to the posterity.    

The CSI Parish in Kattakada was established in 1846 by the pioneering missionary Rev. John Cox.  It is one of the biggest parishes in South Kerala Diocese with more than 650 families in its fold. 

    Over the years our Parish has served the society in many meaningful ways and has been a powerful instrument in social and educational development

1.  Ward Convention

The 27th Ward Convention of our Parish was conducted on 22nd October at the courtyard of Smt. Komalam, Karicharavila. Rev. C.R. Vincent presided over. The key-note address was delivered by Rev. Anish Sebastian (CSI Kottapuram). Rev. Saji N. Stewart was also present. All families belonging to Ward No.8 and the nearby localities attended.

2. World Sunday School Day

The World Sunday School Day was duly celebrated on 6th November. In this connection, Christian Education Week was celebrated from 29th October to 6th November. The Sunday School students and teachers conducted various parts of the Sunday Services on these days. The colourful Sunday School Day Rally was conducted on 6th November afternoon in the town. Our Sunday School won the trophy for the best Sunday School in the district.
