Welcome to the Official Website of CSI Kattakada

A parish is the epitome and symbol of Christian love and fellowship. It was the divine will to found this parish in the heart of a small town which is growing rapidly. Our church and the laity could exercise a great influence on all shades of life in the society we live. The present generation strives hard to uphold this heritage and hand it over to the posterity.    

The CSI Parish in Kattakada was established in 1846 by the pioneering missionary Rev. John Cox.  It is one of the biggest parishes in South Kerala Diocese with more than 650 families in its fold. 

    Over the years our Parish has served the society in many meaningful ways and has been a powerful instrument in social and educational development

1. VBS: The Vacation Bible School (VBS) in our parish for this year will be conducted from 8th April to 15th April. Timings: Just after the second Servcie on Sundays and 8.30 AM onwards on other days.

2. Teachers’ Training: A training programme for all the Sunday School teachers of Kattakada Area will be conducted on 24th March (1.00 PM onwards) in our church, under the aegis of the Board for Christian Education, CSI, SKD. All Sunday teachers of Kattakada Area are requested to participate.

3. Kattakada Union Convention: The 60th Kattakada Union Convention will be conducted in Christian College Ground, Kattakada, from 4th May to 6th May. Fr. Joseph Puthenpurackal will deliver the key-note-address. All are requested to attend the above Conventions and receive the blessings of the Lord.
