1. Passion Week/Easter: Maundy Thursday has been observed on 02.04.2015. The evening prayer began at 6.30 PM. The confirmation sacrament of 13 new members has been conducted in the service. During the sermon, it has been stated by Rev. R. Shibu that the Passover is a festival of deliverance; while it marked the deliverance of the Israelites from their slavery in Egypt in the Old Testament, it signifies the deliverance of all humankind from the slavery of Satan in the New Testament.


The Morning Prayer on Good Friday (03.04.2015) has been conducted at 8.00 AM. Rev. K.P. Mohandas has delivered the sermon, based on the life of Joseph of Arimathea, who has bene mentioned as a disciple of Jesus. He has stated that being a disciple of Jesus requires constant endurance from the part of an individual. It cannot happen overnight; only through the fruits of a lifetime that a person can claim to be a disciple of Jesus. The Morning Parayer was followed by Fasting Prayer. In the afternoon session that began at 2.30 PM, Rev. R. Shibu has led the Meditation on the Seven Verses of Jesus at the Cross.


The Easter has been celebrated on 05.04.2015. The Candle-light Procession began at 5.00 AM, which was followed by the Sunday Service. Rev. R. Shibu has delivered the Easter message.

2. An Appeal: Smt. Sindhu, a native of Aryanadu belongs to a poor family. The marriage of her eldest daughter has been fixed. But shortly afterwards, she has been diagnosed of an advanced stage of cancer, where medical science can do only a little. Adding to her miseries, her husband has deserted the family and eloped with another woman. In her desire to see at least one of her daughters married of in her life time, she has approached the Palliative Care Unit of our parish for help.
