Poor Fund

     Poor fund plays a vital role in extending help to the deserving poor members in our parish. This fruitful endeavor which exists now in elaborate mode was started in the year 1965, when Rev. L. John was the vicar of our parish. There hailed many eminent leaders who gave their level best to fulfill the objectives of the organization.

     The poor fund has done numerous charitable works irrespective of looking at the community, cast and creed of the deserving applicants. The main activities include giving monthly pension to poor applicants, financial assistance for education and marriage of poor girls, building houses, renovating the houses etc… Many deserving members in our church could successfully establish small businesses by the aid obtained from poor fund in the form of machines or tool kits.
